You need a lot of light, that would be the device spinning. And so everything is OK.
It meets what the publication says and didn't know it was for aromatherapy as it didn't come with aroma,. But very cute rotating ornament

I did not understand right away that the object works with the light, I opened a dispute for nothing, this object is really great! I highly recommend! By cons it will have to wait for the summer because it takes a lot, a lot, a lot (too much) of light for it to work! If you expect a permanent perpetual movement, let go! It works a few seconds Big Max.
